Dress Standard
Neat casual dress is the minimum standard expected at Gungahlin Lakes Golf Club.
Metal spiked golf shoes are not permitted.
For men, a collared shirt or approved golf style shirt must be worn at all times. Socks should be predominantly white. Anklet type sox are permitted provided they are predominantly white and visible. All clothing is to be in good repair. Football jumpers, football shorts, multi-coloured (or any) beach shorts or tracksuits and the like are not permitted.
For ladies, acceptable attire includes skirts, slacks, culottes, tailored shorts, ¾ length pants. Shirts can be collared, round or V neck. Ladies are not permitted to wear short shorts, tracksuits, sun frocks, gym skirts, midriff tops, strapless/thin straps or halter neck sun tops.
Full details are signposted at the Club. The GLGC Committee or Club Professional should be consulted if you are in any doubt. The dress code is closely monitored by the Pro Shop staff and Committee so please do the right thing and avoid embarrassment. At least look like a golfer...................
