Gungahlin Lakes Golf Course was officially opened on July 3rd 1995. It remains Canberra's newest course.

As the name implies the course features attractive lakes and ponds with challenging water carries across fairways and to greens. Set in the new northern Canberra region of Gungahlin in the suburb of Nicholls, the course is an easy 15 minutes drive from the Canberra City central.
The 6,198 metre, par 72 (rated 72) championship layout is regarded by many who have played it as on of the more challenging courses in the ACT District.
The course is open to the public with Green Fees some of the most competitive in Canberra. We all love to play golf and what we'll offer you are the absolute best rates in Gungahlin, ever. Why pay up to almost $50 for 18 holes when you can play for $22 during the week at our first class establishment with facilities unmatched anywhere in Canberra.
Corporate golf days are especially catered for. Please note we are a Soft Spike preferred course.
From a very spartan begining the Club now boasts a 4,000m2 Clubhouse which was completed and opened in 1998. It features dining for 270, a fantastic outdoor BBQ area, poker machines, full ACTTAB betting facilities on the upper level, and Spike Bar, Pro Shop and golfing members lounge on the lower level.
The dining room of the Clubhouse boast magnificent views to the 18th hole, and is the perfect environment to relax in at any time.
Unique to Canberra, the course and Clubhouse is owned and operated by the Ainslie Football and Social Club . The golf club is run by a sub-committee of the AF&SC. Find out what's happening in the club house!
